Program Focus

The focus of Dr. Deshmukh's research has been on developing new data-driven computational frameworks by integrating deep learning, hybrid evolutionary algorithms, and docking methods to design novel drugs for the target protein. Data generated during the drug design process is further analyzed to develop a fundamental understanding of the key drug-protein interactions responsible for drug binding to active key residues.
